What does Addium do?

Addium is an all natural nootropic produced by a company of the same name.

It’s claimed to:

  • Promote Energy
  • Increase Brain Power
  • Improve Focus

But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at the Addium stack to see just how effective it really is – and what side effects it may have.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about Addium’s stack:

Right off the bat:

It’s a proprietary blend.

This means we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used in this nootropic, or how effective it will be overall.

On top of that we’ve noticed that it may be more of a glorified stimulant than a nootropic – take a look:

Addium’s Ingredients:

We’ve summarized it all at the end:

Not a good start.

Carnitine may promote energy and metabolism, but when it comes to cognition – it’s useless,

There are no cognitive benefits of supplementing Carnitine – especially at this dosage, you need at least 500mg or more to see any effects.

One of the better options.

Linked to promotors relaxation and calmness, L-Theanine is good for controlled focus. Especially when it’s combined with caffeine.

Although there are downsides to caffeine as a nootropic.

A risky choice.

Although caffeine can promote focus – the effect is fleeting.

After an hour or so, the effects and improved wakefulness fade. What you’re left with is a feeling of drowsiness and fatigue.

It’s not a great choice.

Rhodiola Rosea

One of the better choices for a noot.

Rhodiola has been seen in numerous studies to promote mood, cognition, and even in some cases help against depression.

It’s an interesting nutrient to research and there’s a lot out there on it.

Another good choice.

Bacopa has been seen in studies to promote both memory and mood. It’s an effective choice for anyone looking to stay sharp,

Quick Overview: On the whole, this nootropic has several effective ingredients – but the proprietary blend lets it down.

We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, and by extension, we don’t know how effective it will be overall.

To top it all off the caffeine may cause an energy crash later on, which could break your focus.

Side Effects

The main thing you have to worry about with Addium is the caffeine.

You don’t know how much is in it.

In these cases the caffeine is sometimes a high dose to give the illusion of cognitive enhancement – when in reality you’re just wired.

This will result in an energy crash and drop in focus, be careful.

Is there anything better out there than Addium?

From this review, if you’re thinking about using Addium – this is what you need to know:

Relies on Caffiene: The stack uses stimulants instead of more cognitive enhancers.

Proprietary Blend: We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used – or how effective it may be because of this.
