What does Focus5 do?
Manufactured by BRI Nutrition, Focus5 is an all natural nootropic that claims to promote:
- Memory
- Overall Cognition
- Prevent Fatigue
But how well does it really work?
In this review we look closer about what actually goes into Focus5 to see how well it delivers these effects.
This is what we’ve found:
What you need to know about the Focus5 Stack:
Right off the bat:
It’s basic. Very basic.
There are only a few ingredients that make up Focus5, and even fewer that are effective.
It seems to be relying a lot on caffeine, which isn’t a good sign.
This is what you need to know:
Focus5’s Ingredients
We’ve summarized them all at the end:
Choline
Converted by our bodies into acetylcholine.
Choline is a good nootropic for increasing memory, reaction time and focus.
Taurine
Mainly helps the blood and heart, and works well as an agent to promote blood flow.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t fair well as a nootropic.
Caffeine
Can be effective, but it all comes at a cost.
Although caffeine has been seen to promote focus, metabolism and overall energy – the end result is not worth it.
This nutrient can leave you feeling drained and fatigued with the overall effect being very short term.
Vitamin B6
May help with metabolism, but there is not a lot of cognitive support here.
Vitamin B6 is good for overal health, but from a cognitive point of view, it does very little.
Vitamin B12
This vitamin may have a mild effect on mood, but it’s not significant.
With several studies that it may reduce the rate of stroke, and also slightly improve mood, B12 is a good supporting nootropic, but definitely not a main contender.
Quick Summary: This is a pretty basic nootropic – and not a great one.
The main ingredient here is the choline – the taurine helps it circulate quicker but it needs more supporting nutrients to do the job effectively.
On top of that, the caffeine will give you a boost, but it’ll drop you hard an hour or so later.
Not the best choice out there by far.
Side Effects
The main things you have to worry about with Focus5 is the caffeine.
Although it may give you an energy boost early on, it could drop off later leaving you fatigued.
The best nootropics are caffeine free – standing on its own two feet through science rather than stimulants.
Is there anything better out there than Focus5?

We’ve done the research, looked at the studies and are more than familiar with the nootropics market – and it’s led us to the best ones on the market.

BRI Nutrition Focus5 Review Conclusion
On the whole, this isn’t the best nootropic you can find.
From this review, there are several things you need to know about Focus5 before considering it:
- Slim Nutrient Profile: Not enough ingredients for optimum cognitive enhancement.
- Contains Caffeine: Relies too much on stimulants rather than nootropics – which could cause side effects.
All in all, there are better options out there.
