But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Gunner to see how effective it really is. This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the Gunner Cognitive Enhancer stack:

It may cause side effects.

To begin with Gunner isn’t the best nootropic we’ve seen.

It has some good ingredients, but it’s missing several core nutrients which could make all the difference.

Not only that, it has the potential to cause side effects.

This is what you need to know:

The Ingredients

Don’t worry, we’ve summed it all up at the end.

Choline

One of the better cognitive enhancers. Although Citicholine is probably a better option.

Choline has been seen to help improve learning and focus, while decreasing anxiety.

It’s a good option.

Caffeine

A good stimulant – but is it a good option for cognition?

We don’t think so. Although caffeine gives you a good boost in focus – the effects are short lived.

The effects of caffeine only last for a few hours, and shortly after you’re left fatigued and sluggish – which is definitely not what you want when seeking mental performance.

Phenylethylamine

A poorer option.

Phenylethylamine has been seen to help raise ‘happy hormones’ in the body like dopamine and serotonin – however when taken orally, its not effective.

Studies have shown oral supplementation of Phenylethylamine leads to the amino acid being broken down to quickly to activate.

You won’t get an effective result out of it.

L-Tyrosine

An anti stress amino acid that may promote focus.

By lowering your overall stress, L-Tyrosine can help settle your nerves. You’ll feel more calm and relaxed and be able to concentrate more effectively.

Rhodiola Rosea

One of the better cognitive boosters.

Although it helps to boost focus, Rhodiola is mainly a mood enhancer.

Having been linked to work as an anti depressant and promote feelings of ‘well-being’ Rhodiola is a great option for feeling good and motivate to take on the task ahead.

DMAE

A poorer option.

DMAE is typically used in beauty creams, this nutrient has now expanded to the supplements industry.

But is it for the better?

The belief is that DMAE may help reduce cognitive decline – however, studies have shown otherwise.

DMAE has little to no effect at lowering cognitive decline – and may even cause side effects.

We’ll go into more detail on this later.

Ginkgo Biloba

Another poor choice.

Ginkgo Biloba has been thought in numerous studies to help cognition – but studies have shown otherwise.

In reality, the actual effects of Ginkgo Biloba are mixed. With not many users getting any benefit.

The results are so inconclusive that researchers now believe the effects may even be placebo.

It’s not a great option.gunner-cognitive-enhancer-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile we’ve seen in a nootropic.

Quite a few core cognitive boosters are missing from Gunner; Bacopa Leaf, Phosphatidylserine, L-Theanine and more all would’ve made the all the difference.

Not only that the DMAE has been seen to cause side effects and there are a few ineffective ingredients.

Also the caffeine is used as a crutch for energy, which could lead to crashes after a few hours.

Side Effects

DMAE is a pretty risky choice when it comes to oral supplementation.

Reports have found that this nutrient may lead to birth defects in expectant mothers – and more research needs to be done to find the full extent of its damage.

It’s a relatively new supplement and should definitely be taken with caution.

Is there anything better out there than this Nootropic?
