What does InteliGEN do?
Made by a company of the same name, this is an all natural nootropic that is claimed to promote:
- Memory
- Brain Function
- Focus
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at InteliGEN and see how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
What you need to know about the InteliGEN stack:
It’s a pretty thin, proprietary stack.
There are only 4 ingredients in this nootropic. Not only that, it’s a proprietary blend.
This means you don’t know how much you’re getting of each ingredient – the manufacturer has chosen to hide them.
This means you don’t know how effectively dosed these ingredients are and whether they will actually work.
The Ingredients
- Bacopa
- Vinpocetine
- Ginkgo Biloba
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine
Don’t worry. We’ve summarized the ingredients in a quick overview further down.
Bacopa
One of the better natural nootropic ingredients.
Bacopa Monneri has been seen in numerous studies to promote several levels of cognition.
One of the main areas bacopa can help is with memory – but it can also help to lower anxiety.
It’s a good addition here.
Vinpocetine
Another great choice, and extracted from the Periwinkle plant.
Although not as good as Bacopa – this is still a great choice.
The main benefit of Vinpocetine is how improving memory. It can also help improves blood flow.
It’s a solid supporting nutrient in any nootropic stack.
Ginkgo Biloba
This is where InteliGEN falls down. Gingko isn’t a good option.
Although marketed heavily as a cognitive enhancer – studies have shown that the effects of this nutrient are very unreliable.
It’s so unreliable in terms of results – that researchers have suggested that the effects may just be placebo.
It definitely isn’t a good sign.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine
Another poorer choice.
L-Carnitine is more for energy and metabolism. This amino acid is more commonly used in pre workouts and fat burners for these abilities.
Not only that – for it actually to work you need between 500 – 2500mg – and as this a proprietary blend, there’s no way to know for sure how effective it is.
Quick Overview: On the whole, this is a pretty poor nootropic stack. You only have to look at how fewer ingredients there are to know that it’s not an ideal choice. Not only that, there are only 2 good ingredients – the bacopa and the Vinpocetine. After these two it all seems to fall apart. It’s definitely not your best option.
Side Effects
There have been no side effects reported with InteliGEN – but then again there are not that many ingredients.
All the nutrients are natural and should not cause side effects.

InteliGEN Review Conclusion
On the whole, this isn’t the best nootropic on the market.
From this review, here’s what you need to know about InteliGEN;
- Missing Core Ingredients: not enough ‘main’ nootropic nutrients like L-Theanine and Phosphatidylserine.
- Proprietary Blends: You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be.
- Ineffective ingredients: Both L-Carnitine and Ginkgo Biloba aren’t that effective when it comes to cognitive boosting.
On the whole, you could definitely do better.
