But how well does it really work?

In this review we look closer at IQ2 Labs to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the IQ2 Labs Stack:

It’s not the best out there.

The problem with IQ2 Labs is that it lacks some of the core nutrients you need for effective cognitive boosting.

Bacopa and Phosphatidylserine would’ve made all the difference here.

Not only that, some of the ingredients used may cause side effects.

It’s definitely not an ideal nootropic.

Take a look:

The Ingredients

Don’t worry, we’ve summarized them all at the end of this section.

Choline

One of the better options for cognition – but we would’ve preferred CDP Choline (Citicholine).

Having been seen to boost learning and overall cognition and focus, choline is a good all rounder to have when you need to concentrate.

Cacao

Nothing special here.

Cacoa is extracted from the cocoa plant and has been seen to raise blood flow.

This may help move nutrients around your body and increase absorption.

Guarana

A good option for caffeine – but not for cognition.

Our issue with using stimulants in nootropics is because the effects are short-lived.

You’ll get a mild boost in energy, which will fade into an energy crash an hour or two afterwards.

It’s not worth the risk.

Carnitine

An all natural amino acid that has been seen to raise energy and metabolism.

Our issue with carnitine here is the dosage – with only 250mg per serving, it falls well below what research recommends.

Ideally you need between 500 – 2500mg for the best results.

DMAE

One of the poorer choices for cognition.

DMAE is believed to help improve and prevent cognitive decline – however studies have shown that it has little to no effect.

Not only that, there are various reports of this addition causing side effects.

Vinpocetine

A better option.

Vinpocetine has been seen to improve both blood flow and memory.

It’s a great supporting option.

Huperzine A

This addition is a risk.

Huperzine A has some minor cognitive benefits when supplemented orally – however you can build up a tolerance to it quickly.

It may need to be cycled.

There’s also a risk of it causing side effects.

It’s not that good of an option.iq2-labs-results

Quick Overview: When it comes to nootropics, IQ2 Labs doesn’t have the best nutrient profile we’ve seen.

There’s not that many core nutrients for cognition used. Bacopa and Phosphatidylserine would’ve been some good choices to include.

Whereas nutrients like L-Carnitine are under dosed, Huperzine A needs to be cycled and DMAE may cause side effects.

It doesn’t shape up overall to be a great nutrient.

Side Effects

The main concern here has to be the DMAE.

Studies have shown that supplementing this nutrient has caused birth defects in mothers – and the other side effects are still being researched.

The bottom line is that it’s dangerous, and should be avoided if possible.

Is there anything better out there than this Nootropic?

Definitely.

We’ve done the research, looked at the studies and are more than familiar with the nootropics market – and it’s led us to the best ones on the market.
