But how well does it really work?

In this review, we take a closer look at KOIOS, to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the KOIOS Brain Food Stack

Right off the bat:

It’s a proprietary blend – and that’s not a good thing.

Proprietary blends are when supplement companies put numerous ingredients together under the same value – in doing so you don’t know how much you’re getting of each individual nutrient or how effective it will be.

This can seriously damage the integrity of the product, as you don’t know what you’re paying for.

Here’s what you need to know about the ingredients:

Don’t worry. We’ve summarized them all at the end.

Eleuthero Root Powder

Linked to having some anti-stress benefits – but the studies are minimal, making it rather unreliable.

If effective, this root could help promote calmness and focus, allowing you to concentrate more during the day.

L-Tyrosine

One of the better nootropics out there.

L-Tyrosine has been seen to help both lower stress and anxiety. This is great if you’re looking to keep calm while still having a good level of focus.

Guarana

A caffeinated herb that may help with energy levels.

But caffeine isn’t your best answer to use a nootropic – mainly because it’s fleeting. The effects will wear off after an hour or so, and it will leave you feeling fatigued. It’s a risky choice.

Alpha GPC

Alpha GPC is also a nootropic you have to think about before taking.

It has seen to promote power output in some cases, but in terms of working as an actual nootropic – the results are unreliable.

Thought help prevent overall cognitive decline, however, studies have shown that this doesn’t always work.

It may not be your best option.

Bacopa Leaf

A solid nootropic, and one that we are a huge fan of here at AN.

One of the better nutrients on the market, this nootropic has been seen to promote memory, and anxiety, and even help against cognitive decline. It’s good that it’s in this stack.

Phosphatidylseine

PS is also a great choice.

Linked to improving mood, memory, relaxation and various other cognitive advantages. It’s one of the best natural choices you can come across on the natural market.

Vinpocetine

Another good addition.

Vinpocetine is good for blood flow, but it also helps with memory formations. It’s a great natural extract from the periwinkle plant.

Huperzine A

An okay nootropic.

Seen in some studies to help with cognitive decline and improve learning – however it’s not the most reliable choice.

There are better options available.

Quick Overview: On the whole, this isn’t the best nootropic nutrient profile we’ve seen.

This is mainly down to the proprietary blend. There are so many ingredients here that have had their dosages listed. It makes it hard for us to know how much of each you’re getting, and how effective it will be overall.

On top of that you have to have to consider quite a few of the ingredients are the best for cognitive enhancement – nutrients like Guarana rely too much on caffeine for results that wears off after a few hours.

Whereas Alpha GPC and Huperzine A are mostly unreliable.

It’s just not a great set up.

Side Effects

There have been no side effects reported with this Nootropic.

Is there anything better out there than this Nootropic?

Definitely.

We’ve done the research, looked at the studies and are more than familiar with the nootropics market – and it’s led us to the best ones on the market.

If you’re looking for nootropics that promote:

  • Attention
  • Mood
  • Creativity
  • Mental Sharpness
  • Maximum Focus
  • Stronger Neuroconnections
  • Overall Clarity and Cognitive Clearness

Then this is the list you need to see.

KOIOS Brain Food Review Conclusion

On the whole, this is far from being the best nootropic on the market.

From this review, this is what you need to know about KOIOS Brain Food:

  • Proprietary blend: You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall because of this.
  • Ineffective ingredients: Many of the ingredients used lack clinical backing.
  • May build a tolerance: Huperzine A needs to be cycled and you can build a tolerance up to it quickly.

Needless to say, it’s not your best option.
