But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Brain Stack to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the Brain Stack:

Not all the ingredients are that effective.

Several of the nutrients used are under dosed, while others lack any clinical backing.

Here’s what you need to about the full rundown:

The Ingredients

Don’t worry, we’ve summarized it all at the end.

Oat Straw

Also known as Avena Sativa.

Thought to help health in numerous ways including testosterone levels.

However, studies have shown that Oat Extract does very little for health, and that includes cognition.

It’s not your best option, and will have very little effect.

L-Carnitine

An amino acid that has been seen to help promote energy and metabolism – it doesn’t have that much of an effect on cognitive ability.

Studies have shown for the best effects from this nutrient you need at least 500mg to see any real difference.

At 300mg in Brian Stack, you may be disappointed with the results.

Bacopa

One of the better options.

Bacopa has been seen in numerous studies to help promote cognition, while also reducing anxiety.

There are numerous studies that back up the effectiveness of this nootropic and it’s ideal for any stack.

Mucuna Pruriens

This is better for helping you with mood.

Mucuna Pruriens are full of L-Dopa, this promotes dopamine in your body and increases relaxation and calmness.

This allows you to focus more and increase concentration.

GPC Choline

Choline is one of the better choices of nootropic.

It has been seen to promote learning and to help reduce anxiety.

It’s a solid ingredient that helps to promote overall cognition.

Caffeine

This isn’t a good addition.

Although caffeine can help raise energy and focus – it’s a stimulant.

That means the effects this nutrient are short lived – which leaves you with fatigue and a lack of concentration.

We don’t believe nootropics should use caffeine as the short term effects can leave you worse off than before you took it.

Vinpocetine

A solid supporting ingredient.

Vinpocetine has been seen to help improve both memory and blood flow.

This can help with recall, but also with nutrient absorption.

Huperzine A

Another bad choice.

The effects of Huperzine A show that it may mildly help improve cognition, however, there’s an issue with it – you can build up a tolerance to it quickly.

This means that the effects will wear off if you use it on a long term basis.

It’s not a great addition.

Quick Overview: Brain Stack isn’t the best nootropic stack out there if you’re looking to boost your cognition.

Although it contains some good ingredients, many of those that have been included have been seen to have little effect on brain boosting, and in some cases are under dosed.

Phosphatidylserine would’ve been a good addition here.

There are better options out there – this is not your ideal nootropic.

Side Effects

The caffeine could be a worry here.

Not a dangerous one – but it will have a side effect on your cognition.

By temporarily boosting your focus and energy levels – caffeine will help in the short term, but an hour or two later it will leave you drained and unfocused.

Whereas Huperzine A is still being researched and is unknown if it may cause side effects long term.

Is there anything better out there than this Nootropic?
