What does MOD Elite Gaming Supplement do?

Manufactured by a supplement company of the same name, MOD is an all natural nootropic that has been claimed to promote:

  • Brainpower
  • Focus
  • Energy

But just how well does it work?

In this review, we look closer at MOD to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the Elite Gaming MOD stack:

It’s pretty hit and miss.

Some of the ingredients in this nootropic are good – whereas others are totally ineffective.

Not only that, MOD seems to rely on stimulants, which could make the effects very short-lasting with a nasty fatigue side effect afterwards.

Here’s what you need to know:

The Ingredients

Don’t worry – we’ve summarized it all at the end.

Bacopa

One of the better options for mood and cognitive enhancement.

Bacopa has been seen to help improve focus and learning – while also reducing and lowering anxiety.

It’s good for keeping a calm, focused mindset.

Choline

A good option for cognition – although there are better versions of it.

It can help promote learning and concentration. However for the best results, we recommend CitiCholine.

It has seen the best results and effectiveness when it comes to cognitive enhancement.

L-Theanine

One of the better amino acids.

L-Theanine helps promote the depressive hormones in your body, and by that, we mean the ones that keep you calm like GABA and serotonin.

It’s a good addition for keeping your mind relaxed so you can perform under pressure.

Ginkgo Biloba

One of the poorer cognitive boosters on the market.

Ginkgo Biloba has been aggressively marketed for its ability to boost cognitive performance – but how well does it actually work?

Studies have shown the actual effects of Ginkgo are unreliable, with researchers even suggesting that the effects may even be placebo.

It’s not your best option.

Rhodiola Rosea

One of the better choices for mood.

Rhodiola Rosea has been seen to have both anti-anxiety and anti-depressant features while also being able to promote well being.

This may give you a more positive mindset, and perform better in a task.

Alpha GPC

Not the best option out there – but it’s not the worst either.

Alpha GPC doesn’t do that much when it comes to cognitive enhancement – the effects are very unreliable.

However, studies have shown that it may help to improve athletic ability and power output.

Which does have its benefits.

Phosphatidylserine

A fantastic cognitive enhancer.

Phosphatidylserine has 4 main benefits when it comes to boosting brain power: mood, memory, focus and preventing cognitive decline.

It’s a great addition to any stack.

Caffeine

A good stimulant – but it is it a good nootropic.

We’re always skeptical of stacks that use stimulants for brain power. The effects are too short term – and when they wear off you start off worse than you started.

Theacrine

A structurally equivalent component to caffeine – however the studies behind it aren’t great.

The studies behind Theacrine are unreliable, it may not give you the results you’re looking for.mod-elite-gaming-supplement-results

Quick Overview: As you can see, there are a mix of both good and bad ingredients in MOD.

And we’ve got to say it’s not the best nutrient profile we’ve seen.

The caffeine is setting you up for a fall. Once the stimulating effects wear off you’ll be left sluggish and fatigued.

Although the L-Theanine may help to manage this – you’ll struggle to avoid it.

Not only that, nutrients like Ginkgo Biloba have little to no evidence to support that it boosts cognitive function.

Side Effects

Again, the main issue that we see here is that it contains caffeine.

From a nootropic point of view this is bad as it may cause fatigue a few hours later.

Is there anything better out there than this Nootropic?

Definitely.

We’ve done the research, looked at the studies and are more than familiar with the nootropics market – and it’s led us to the best ones on the market.

If you’re looking for nootropics that promote:

  • Attention
