What does UberFOCUS BOOST do?
From Nantucket Nutritionals, we look at UberFOCUS BOOST, the all natural nootropic that seems to be making a name for itself in the industry.
It’s claimed to promote:
- Focus
- Mental Clarity
- Memory
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at the stack of UberFOCUS BOOST to see just how effective and safe this product really is.
It was not what we were expecting.

Right off the bat:
There are side effects, and this is a proprietary blend.
This means you don’t know how much you’re getting of each ingredient, or how bad of an effect it’s going to have on you.
But it’s not all bad – there are still a good ingredient or two in this product, take a look:

Ginkgo Biloba
One of the lesser performing nootropics out there.
Once thought to help with overall cognition, studies told a different story. Ginkgo Biloba is a very unreliable nootropic and offers little to no real benefit.
St. John’s Wort
Has been seen in various studies to help reduce both depression and anxiety.
Although these are great features, several side effects have been reported with St. John’s Wort which heavily outweigh these positives.
Glutamine
An amino acid that isn’t as great as you’d think.
The only reason you would need L-Glutamine is if you had a deficiency. When it’s working in these conditions it can lower your cravings for sugar.
Even if you get this benefit, it still offers you no cognitive advantage. It’s not a great choice.
Phosphatidylserine
This on the other hand is.
PS is one of the better nootropics out there on the market. Having been linked to promoting memory, mood and focus, this nootropic is great for your mind and even helps to reduce cognitive decline, it’s a powerful noot.
Bacopa Monnier
One of the top nootropics in UberFOCUS BOOST.
Bacopa Monnier has been seen on numerous occasions to help improve anxiety problems and overall memory formation. It’s one of the better choices for keeping calm and fully mentally collected during times of high pressure.
Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE)
DMAE on the other hand isn’t so great.
Used in beauty creams, it was thought that DMAE may have some benefit as a nootropic when it came to cognitive decline – however that was proven not to be the case.
Disappointingly, DMAE hasn’t provided much results in terms of nootropic ability – not only that, it’s also linked to side effects. More on that later.
Acetyl-L Carnitine
A good nutrient for energy – but not for brain boosting.
Acetyl-L Carnitine is good for both energy and metabolism, but when it comes to brain boosting – forget about it.
Studies have shown you need 500 – 2500mg of L-Carnitine per day to get any benefit whatsoever. There is definitely not that amount in this product.
It’s just not a good option.
Vinpocetine
Another good choice.
Vinpocetine has been seen to promote both blood, and more importantly, memory.
It comes from the Periwinkle plant and is a great natural nootropic to safely enhance your mind.
Quick Overview: On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile we’ve seen.
The proprietary blend is a big problem. We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, and to that extent how effective it will be.
On top of that you have to consider the side effects, both the DMAE and St. John’s Wort have been known to cause problems – and without knowing how much of each is being used, the risk is high.
Side Effects
There are two ingredients you should be concerned with here. The St. John’s Wort and the DMAE.
St. John’s Wort may help reduce anxiety and depression, but it’s not your best option. Users have reported the following side effects when taking this nootropic:
- Restlessness
- Anxiety
- Irritability
- Fatigue
- Dry Mouth
- Stomach Problems
- Headaches
- And more
Whereas DMAE, which isn’t that much of an effective noot to begin with, has been linked to causing birth defects in expecting mothers.
Research is still being done.
Be careful with this noot.
Is there anything better out there than UberFOCUS BOOST?
Definitely.

On the whole this isn’t the best nootropic you’ll come across.
From this review, it’s clear that UberFOCUS BOOST isn’t the best option – and there are several reasons why:
- Proprietary Blend – We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used to know how effective it will be.
- Potential Side Effects – There is a risk both with the St. John’s Wort and DMAE that you may get side effects from this product.
- Ineffective Choices – Some nutrients like Ginkgo Biloba have little to no effect.
As you can see, it’s not your best option.
