But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Brain Apex to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the Natura Prime Brain Apex stack:

It’s a proprietary blend.

Although there are some good ingredients – this can serve to be a massive drawback.

You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.

Meaning you don’t know if it has been properly dosed.

Here’s what you need to know about the main ingredients:

The Ingredients

We’ve done a full summary at the end:

Caffeine

A good choice for focus – but are you really boosting your cognition here.

Caffeine has been seen to to boost energy and focus – however, it isn’t what we would call an honest nootropic.

With a high risk of energy crash a few hours after use. Caffeine isn’t the ideal choice for anyone looking to have full focus throughout the day.

GABA

A depressant that may help with calmness.

Don’t be thrown off by the term depressant – if anything GABA may change your mood for the better.

Linked to promoting calmness and anxiety, GABA is a great choice for anyone looking to stay relaxed in stressful situations with less anxiety.

Bacopa

One of the better choices for focus.

Bacopa has been linked to boosting two things well, learning and focus.

This may help you stay concentrated and allow you to process new information faster when working throughout the day.

Alpha GPC

Maybe not the best choice for cognition.

AGPC has been seen in several studies to help with the promotion of workout intensity.

It may help with concentration, but only mildly – this is more of a workout nootropic.

L-Theanine

An amino acid that works well with caffeine.

Seen to promote depressive hormones such as GABA and Dopamine, L-Theanine has been seen to work synergistically with caffeine and promote focus, calmness and attention over the energy boost of the stimulant.

It’s a great combination – but we’re still always wary of stimulants in noots.

Phosphatidylserine

One of the better options out there.

PS has been seen to do 4 things overall when it comes to your body – boost mood, focus, memory and prevents cognitive decline.

It’s all natural and a great option.

L-Tyrosine

An anti-stressor that may help keep you focused.

This may also help manage the caffeine, by promoting chemicals in your body such as serotonin and dopamine – the feel good hormones in your body – this amino acid may allow you to stay more relaxed and focused.

Vinpocetine

Also a good choice, and a great natural extract from periwinkle plant.

Vinpocetine has been seen in numerous studies to help with the overall promotion of both memory and blood flow

Huperzine A

Definitely not a great option.

Huperzine A is an unreliable nootropic that has been seen in some studies to help with cognition – in others it has had little to no effective.

One thing is for certain though – it needs to be cycled. Studies have shown that whatever the effects of this nutrient, your body can build up a tolerance to it relatively quickly.

If you’re taking this nootropic long term, it may lose some of its effect.brain-apex-results

Quick Overview: As you can see, the nutrient profile in Brain Apex is a real mixed bag.

There are a range of ingredients here, but not all of them are good. Our main concerns here are the caffeine and the Huperzine A.

Although caffeine seems like a good addition for focus – it will only give you short term results, with a risk of an energy crash afterwards.

It’s just not your best option.

Side Effects

Our only concern here is the caffeine.

Incorporating stimulants into nootropics is a risky idea.

Why? Because it confuses the overall product. You don’t know how much is the supplement actually doing its job to boost cognition – and how much is the energy rush you’ve jacked your body up with from the caffeine.

This is worsened by the fact that Brain Apex is a proprietary blend – you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.

It may be relying too much on the stimulant for your results, and this is definitely not ideal.

Is there anything better out there than this Nootropic?

Definitely.
