What does Neutonic do?

Neutonic is an all natural nootropic drink from Delta X Labs.

Unlike most of the nootropics we review, you can actually drink this product – however, this has left us with some concerns, which will go into later.

What you need to know about Neutonic’s Stack:

Right of the bat:

It’s a drink.

Meaning you’re use of this product is going to limited to a one-time deal per unit, and that can add up given it comes in packs of 12.

This won’t last you the month and makes it harder as an option to be taken long term.

On top of that you have to think of the sugar in this product and how taking that everyday would affect you.

Aside from that, here’s our review of the ingredients so you can see how Neutonic performs as a nootropic:

Caffeine

Essentially pure energy, this stimulant promotes wakefulness and focus.

But be warned, as effective as caffeine is, they’re fleeting. Within hours of using it you could experience an energy crash.

Alpha-GPC

This is a good starting nutrient.

If you’re unfamilair, Alpha-GPC is one of the better nootropics out there. Backed by numerous clinical studies to promote power output in athletes, A-GPC also prevents against cognitive decline and boosts focus.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine, however, is nowhere near as good.

Although linked to boosting energy and metabolism, you need at least 500mg to see any real effect – and Neutonic only has 250mg.

On top of that, it has no benefit from a cognition perspective.

N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine works from an anti-stress perspective.

By promoting feelings of calmness, this will allow you to focus more throughout the day.

L-Theanine

This amino acid works particularly well with caffeine.

When reacting with caffeine L-Theanine helps promote the length of time and potency that the stimulant has, this may solve the problem with the energy crashes and keep you dialed-in for longer.

CDP-Choline

Not the same as regular Choline, but is the precursor to it.

Also known as citicholine, this nootropic has been seen to have various positive effects when it comes to overall cognitive enhancement and focus.

DMAE

Used more in beauty creams rather than nootropics and with good reason – it’s a poor nootropic.

Thought to help prevent against cognitive decline, there is very little evidence that this nutrient has any positive effect with oral supplementation. It’s not your best option.

Anitoxidant & Polyphenol Fruit Blend

Containing Grape, Cranberry, Pomegranate and lot of other fruits.

We’ll summarize this blend for you: it’s not that great.

The only thing it really supplies you with is slightly better blood flow and some mild metabolic boost. There’s no cognitive benefits to be had here, it will not sharpen your mind or focus.

Phosphatidylserine

One of the better nootropics in this stack.

Phosphatidylserine has three main benefits – memory, mood and prevention of cognitive decline. It’s a great addition to what is a mediocre stack.

Teacrine

Structurally similar to caffeine – but is it as good?

Studies have shown that this may give you an energy boost – however the research is limited. Preliminary evidence could be something of a placebo effect. More testing is needed to know for sure.

Quick Overview: On the whole this nutrient profile has some good ingredients – but the bigger picture isn’t that great.

Although there’s the L-Theanine angle, the fact that it’s caffeinated damages it slightly. The effects may last longer but there’s still a risk of an energy crash afterwards.


Side Effects

There are no side effects per se, but there is a chance of an energy crash.

Once the caffeine wears off you may feel depleted and drowsy. This isn’t ideal if you’re looking to be firing on all cyclinders.

If you are thinking about using Neutonic, this is what you need to remember from this review:

  • Limited Supply: Only sold in 12-packs – need to spend a lot of cash for a month’s supply.
  • Potential Energy Crash: Contains caffeine which will wear you out after a few hours.
  • Sugar content: If you’re taking this on a daily basis it’ll add extra calories.

Although a novel idea, it’s not your best option.
