What does NooStax NZT-48 do?

One of the more novel ideas from WebNutrients comes NooStax NZT-48, a vial of nootropics claimed to be the perfect stack.

Thought to promote:

  • Energy
  • Confidence
  • Memory
  • Clarity
  • Focus

But does it really?

A lot of you are confused regarding this nootropic because there are so many different pills involved. This is the article that should clear a few things up.

In this review, we look closer at Noostax NZT-48, to see if it really does walk the walk. We’ll be looking closely at the stack and seeing just how effective this is.

Here’s what we found:

What you need to know about the Noostax NZT-48 stack:

noostax-nzt-48-review

Right off the bat:

It’s a proprietary blend.

This means the actual values of the individual ingredients used are hidden. You don’t know how much you’re getting of each one, which pulls into question how effective it actually is.

There’s a lot of ineffective choices here too.

In terms of taking it, this is literally a vial of pills you’re going to chug-down. It’s pretty much a vial per serving – hence why it costs so much.

Here’s the main nutrients used, we summarize it pretty well at the end:

N-Methyl-Peptide Omniracetam

This is literally a made up blend by the company that’s trying to come across as some strain of the actual nootropic racetram.

Our research has found that this is actually just the herb Cat’s Claw – which could help with fatigue. It won’t have much of an effect here.

Phosphatidycholine

A better choice.

Studies haves shown that use of Phosphatidycholine as a nootropic can help promote mood, memory and prevention of cognitive decline.

Acetyl-L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrsoine also has its merits.

Seen to promote anti-anxiety and anti-stress benefits, L-Tyrosine can help improve overall calmness and focus – particularly when there’s a stimulant involved like caffeine.

Centrolphenoxine

Essentially, a more absorbent version of DMAE.

This may help with cognitive decline, although DMAE is unreliable in itself. This may not have the best results.

Alpha GPC

Has been seen to promote power output and reduce cognitivr decline.

It’s also been seen in some studies to promote focus.

CDP Choline

Also known as citicholine and one of the better cognitive enhancers.

Not to be confused with regular choline, CDP has been linked to promoting mood, memory, attention, focus and concentration.

Caffeine Anhydrous

Definitely not the best choice as a nootropic.

Although caffeine has been seen to increase focus, and it is a reliable stimulant – it may lead to energy crashes.

After the initial peak from the caffeine, you could be left feeling drained and lethargic.

Coconut/Krill/MCT Oil

Three types of oils that although not essential, are a nice touch.

These are essentially why the capsules look the way they do, with the liquid in them. They’re a good source of healthy fats in the right amount – but probably not in this instance being in such tiny capsules.

Quick Overview: On the whole this isn’t the best nutrietn profile out there.

Several of the ingredients used lacks the clinical backing of an effective nootropic. On top of this Omniracetam is actually just cat’s claw.

There are some good choices in here like the Alpha GPC and the Citicholine (CDP Choline) but on the whole it’s not that great.

You always know you have a problem when the manufacturer has to bring caffeine into the mix to get you focused.

There are better options out there. [/wpfmb]

Side Effects

The main side effect that you may experience from this nootropic is drowsiness. This is down to the caffeine. Although it’ll perk you up at first, those effects will fade and you’ll be left feeling drained and unfocused.

NooStax NZT-48 Review Conclusion

On the whole this isn’t the best nootropic we’ve come across.

NooStax seems to be trying to take advantage from the new found popularity in nootropics after the movie Limitless. They’ve named their product similarly, and even added oils to the capsules to give it that ‘stand out’ effect like in the movie.

The reality however, is a not-so-effective nootropic.

From this review, when it comes to Noostax NZT-48, this is what you need to know:

  • Gimmick: This nootropic is riding off the popularity of Limitless, it may not have the best intentions.
  • Proprietary Blend: We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be overall.
  • Potential Energy Crash: The caffeine in this product will wear off after an hour or two.

Overall, it’s not your best option.
