Made by a manufacturer of the same name NootropX is an all natural nootropic claimed to do the following things:

It’s not a great start. Also not all the ingredients in this stack are good – and there’s a ton of them.

Rhodiola Rosea

One of the better nootropics.

Rhodiola Rosea has been seen to boost mood, focus and even help fight depression.

However, there’s a fine line with nutrient. If you go over 680mg – you risk it having negative effects.

Normally it’s fine, but as this is a proprietary blend, this can be a risk.

Ginkgo Biloba

Sadly, a pretty poor nootropic.

Ginkgo has been thought to help with overall cognition – but the effects are minimal.

Studies have shown the actual result of taking Ginkgo is unreliable, and may actually be a placebo effect. It’s not a great choice.

Guarana

Another poor choice.

Guarana is good for energy levels, due to the caffeine content, but when it comes to actually boosting cognition it falls short.

Also caffeine has the tendency to wear off after an hour or two, and the crash (as we know) is fatigue central.

Not what you want.

L-Theanine

A great choice.

Known to promote focus, and overall relaxation.

It’s also been seen to help support the effects of caffeine – however, it will still wear off.

You’re probably still going to get hit with that fatigued spell.

Bacopa

A better choice in this stack.

Bacopa has been found to have numerous uses in the world of nootropics.

Studies have shown that this nutrient helps promote mood, memory, focus and even help defend against cognitive decline.

It’s a good addition to this stack.

Huperzine A

Not always reliable.

H-A has been linked to supporting the neurotransmitters that promote learning. However, it’s not always effective.

Some studies even suggest that this nutrient should be cycled for the best results.

It’s not something you can take long term.

Vinpocetine

Another solid choice.

Vinpocetine has been linked to promoting two things: memory and blood flow.

This should help with getting the nutrients into your system quicker, while also strengthening your ability at recall.

DMAE

Not a great option.

DMAE was originally used in beauty creams – but it’s branched out to nootropics, and not for the better.

It was thought to help with cognitive decline – but studies have shown otherwise.

It’s also been linked to side effects. It’s not a great option.

Choline

A good option.

This nutrient can promote learning, and also help cut down on the fatty acid in your liver.

NootropX-results

Quick Overview: On the whole there are a few good ingredients in NootropX – but it could be better.

Quite a few of the ingredients are ineffective, with some even linked to causing side effects.

It’s not the worst stack out there, but there are better options than this one – by far.


Side Effects

You need to watch the DMAE.

Studies have shown oral supplementation of this noot has caused birth defects in expectant mothers.

And more research needs to be done.

It doesn’t provide any cognitive benefit, and we don’t know the full extent of the harm it can do.

Take it easy with this one.
