But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Opti Neuro Xcel to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

What you need to know about the Opti Neuro Xcel stack:

It’s extensive – but not always effective.

With a wide range of nutrients, this nootropic looks impressive – but don’t be fooled.

Although there are some good ingredients in this product, many of the nutrients are ineffective and some may even break your focus.

Here’s what you need to know about the main ingredients:

The Ingredients

Don’t worry. We’ve summarized it all below this section.

Guarana

Not a great option.

As a caffeinated herb, guarana supplies your body with focus and energy due to the effects of the stimulant.

However they are short lived. The benefits of caffeine fade quickly after an hour or two and can lead to a rise in fatigue and a lack of concentration.

Phosphatidylserine

A better choice for a nootropic stack.

Phosphatidylserine has been reported to have four main functions when it comes to cognitive enhancement.

It helps focus, mood, memory and prevents against cognitive decline.

There are a lot of studies to back this up – it’s a solid option.

L-Theanine

A great addition for focus.

L-Theanine helps to promote calming hormones in your body like GABA and dopamine.

This supports a more relaxed feeling, which dampens distractions and allows you to concentrate more.

Taurine

Not your best choice, but does have its uses.

Taurine has been seen to promote blood flow throughout your body, which may help with overall nutrient absorption.

Tyrosine

An anti stressor amino acid.

Tyrosine has been seen to help promote feel good hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

Again, like L-Theanine, this can help with calmness – albeit to a much more minor extent.

Ginseng

One of the better options for improving blood flow – but cognition.

Ginseng has been seen to boost nitric oxide, which is a vasodilator. This dilates blood vessels and improves overall nutrient flow. However it won’t do much for cognition.

Ginkgo Biloba

A poor choice.

Ginkgo Biloba is aggressively marketed as a cognitive enhancer – however, studies have shown that the results are very unreliable.

Researchers now suggest the overall effect of this nutrient may just be placebo.

CoQ10

Coenzyme Q10 is one of your body’s main tools for producing energy – however supplementing it isn’t the answer.

Studies have shown, that although effective – taking CoQ10 orally will have very little effect as it isn’t absorbed enough.

It’s not a great option here.opti-neuro-xcel-results

Quick Overview: This isn’t the best nutrient profile you can get in a nootropic.

Many of the nutrients used are unreliable, and it misses many of the core nutrients used for effective cognitive enhancement.

Nutrients like Vinpocetine and more are missing here that could’ve made some more benefit.

Side Effects

The only risk here isn’t harmful – but it is distracting – it’s the caffeine.

With 110mg of caffeine, Guarana will give you a serious energy boost, however once the effects wear off, you’ll be fatigued and distracted.

It’s not your best option – it’s never good when a nootropic relies on Caffeine for a lift.
