What does Nutritech Labs UltraNeuro do?
Made by Nutritech Labs, this is an all natural nootropic that is claimed to promote:
- Memory
- Focus
- Mental Flow
- Clarity
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at UltraNeuro to see how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
What you need to know about the UltraNeuro stack:
It could be more developed.
Although there are some good ingredients in this product, there are some drawbacks.
It relies on caffeine for energy, which is a risk – as you can face an energy crash afterwards.
Not only that, there are several core ingredients missing from this nootropic that could make all the difference.
Here’s the lowdown:
The Ingredients:
Don’t worry, we’ve summarized it all at the end:
Caffeine
Not a great option for a nootropic stack.
Although caffeine is a great natural stimulant for focus and energy – it is still a stimulant.
This means you’ll still suffer an energy crash after use. Which will end in a dip in both focus and motivation, ruining your productivity.
Choline
One of the better options.
Choline is a nootropic that has been seen to help with focus and learning after it is converted into Citicholine by your body.
The only way this could be improved upon is by using Citicholine instead of Choline in this nootropic for faster effects.
Alpha GPC
A slightly weaker option.
Alpha GPC isn’t your best option for cognitive performance – but it does have some benefits.
It has mainly been seen to help power output in athletes, so it may be better in a body building supplement – that said there are a few studies that claim it helps cognitive decline.
L-Theanine
One of the better amino acids – and it may help with the caffeine.
L-Theanine helps to promote the calming hormones in your body like GABA and Serotonin.
This helps with overall calmness and relaxation – which can help to balance any jittery side effects you may get from the caffeine.
However this may not save you from the energy crash that follows it.
Huperzine A
Not a great option.
Huperzine A has been to have little to no benefit when it comes to cognitive boosting capabilities.
Not only that, it has been seen to be an easy nutrient to build a tolerance to.
Whatever benefits it may give you will wear off quickly.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine
An amino acid that has been linked to boosting energy and metabolism.
It may also have some minor benefit when it comes to improving cognition.
However studies have shown for the full effects you need between 500 – 2500mg, UltraNeuro only contains 160mg.
Quick Overview – This isn’t the best nootropic stack we’ve seen.
The caffeine is the first disappointment. By relying too much on a stimulant – you risk causing an energy crash after the effects have worn off.
Secondly the inclusion of Huperzine A, which appears to do more harm than good – and is very easy to build a tolerance to.
Finally the Carnitine is severely under dosed, and nowhere close to the 500mg needed for the best effects.
Side Effects
Your main risk here is with the caffeine.
Although there’s not enough here to give you the jitters – there is a risk of it causing fatigue and energy crashes after the effects have worn off.
This can lead to sluggishness and an overall lack of focus.
